'Atlantic Rhythm – The Show' will open its doors for the Summer of 2015 on Tuesday June 30th 2015 and run every Tuesday night during the Summer Season, until the last performance which will be on Tuesday the 8th of September. The Show is a new production combining the Theatrical Side of a full show with a wonderful Unique Interactive Experience, where visitors to the show will be asked to join in.

Shelia Moffatt of Atlantic Rhythm Productions the creator of the new show was asked to comment about the new production and replied “We were delighted that the Tourism Minister Michael Ring TD has lent us his support for the new show. Hotel Westport is synonymous with hosting excellent shows over the years and this show is no different! There will be a wealth of Mayo talent on stage. Music is by two groups, The Full House Ceilí Band and Double-Take - all of whom are very accomplished and talented musicians! The combination of music, song and dance will create an electric atmosphere for an audience of all ages to enjoy.”

“As well as the main cast in the show we are looking forward to unearthing the world’s musical and dancing talent in our interactive element of the production. On Tuesday 4 August we are staging one of the official events for the Mayo Manchester Tradfest which will feature Joe Keegan from the BBC TV series The Voice and members of the Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band. It promises to be a very special evening for us.”

Declan Heneghan, General Manager of Hotel Westport added “Following on from the success of the past five years, this new show, 'Atlantic Rhythm – The Show' will be a great attraction for people residing in the vicinity of Westport this Summer. It will appeal to young and old, locals and tourists who seek out ‘the traditional elements’ of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way whilst on holiday".

The Full House Ceilí Band who hail from Bonniconlon, comprise of siblings Stephen, Sandra and Aisling Dempsey. They were invited to perform in Arás an Uachtaráin by both former Presidents, Mary Robinson and Mary McAleese and have performed on National and International Radio and TV after their tour of North America.

Double-Take duo Tara Cawley and Barry Molloy are an acoustic band based in Ballina and are currently cast in the hit musical "Beyond the Barricade" which was a sell out show around Mayo and soon be in Manchester. Their music genre ranges from Irish, Ballad, Current and Rock.
World Championship Dancers, Claire & Eilish O’Kane, from Ireland‘s Titanic village of Lahardane, are very well known within the Irish Dance circle. Both sisters have numerous titles and championships to their credit while also performing on the show The Emigrants’ Farewell since 2011. The audience is in for a real treat when they meet the cast youngest members Cian Lavelle and Michaela Mullaney. Mayo’s very own Michael Flatley and Jean Butler!

The central attraction of this show is the intermingling of local award winning performers giving a unique live performance; it will make for a truly unforgettable evening!

Sheila Moffatt choreographs the new show. Moffatt School of Irish Dancing has been training Irish Dance Champions for well over 20 years on both the closed and open platforms of Competitive Irish Dance. It’s a busy time for the performers and the choreographer, having recently performed with Derek Warfield and the Young Irish Wolfe Tones in the USA and as of this weekend coming, a number of the members of 'Atlantic Rhythm – The Show' will be dancing at the CRN World Open Irish Dancing Championships in Castlebar before taking to the stage here at Hotel Westport next week!
