Mayo Day set to bring World together

The annual Mayo Day celebration which is now in its 5th year is set to bring the estimated 3.6 million Mayo Diaspora together for the celebration of all things related to the West of Ireland County on Saturday 4 May. With events from New York, Australia, Hong Kong and all over Europe including the UK and back home in Mayo it promises to be the best festival yet.

Mayo Manchester started the countdown at Manchester United’s world famous Theatre of Dreams at Old Trafford.

Alan Keegan The Voice of Old Trafford helped launch the brand new Mayo GAA Mayo Day jersey before the sold out Manchester United v Chelsea Game. The 76,000 capacity crowd were treated to a glimpse of the shirt soonsored by Mayo.ie

Alan who is the on the pitch announcer at Manchester United and TV presenter is also a major part of the award winning Mayo Manchester week long Tradfest which takes place all over Mayo from 1-7 August.

The presenter will be hosting the flagship Mayo Day Tradfest Concert on Saturday 4 May at M19 Bar and Music venue in Levenshulme. The concert features the Mayo Man - Peter Mylett who is launching a brand new song on the night. It also features performances from the Grace Kennedy School of Irish Dancing and
the Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band.
