Atlantic Rhythm's 1916 show wins second award

It looks like Shelia Moffatt's School of Irish Dancing in Crossmolina might need to order another Trophy Cabinet after the Dancers, Musicians and Singers from its Atlantic Rhythm Production Company have just scooped its second summer Title after winning the prestigious Siamsa Sraide U18 Busking Title. This title comes hot on the heels of the company just winning The 2016 Ballina nd Salmon Festival and winning two World Irish dancing trophies and numerous world Irish dancing medals. Previous winners of Siamsa Sraide include the multi-award winningnd traditional Irish singer and musician - Tommy Flemming.

The troupe of talented Irish Musicians, Singers and Dancers have had a hectic summer schedule which included launching the world premiere of its 1916 Centenary show called 'Isle of Hope' - 'Saoirse na h√Čireann' and being an integral part of the sell out Mayo Manchester week long Tradfest in Mayo.

Tony Hennigan from Mayo Manchester commented "It is great to see this very talented and hard working group of performers doing so well. We have been working with them for the last four years and we hope to help them bring their 1916 Saoirse na h√Čireann - Isle of Hope centenary show to the UK."

The sell out show has had a lot of interest from as far away as Boston in the States and a possible tour of the UK next year already on the cards.
