Katrina began dancing at the age of 4 with Doreen O'Connor and then went to the Sylvan Kelly School of Irish Dancing. She went on to win numerous titles including the Connaught, Scottish and American national championships as well as placing top 5 in both All Ireland and World Championships. Katrina has toured all over the world with shows such as Celtic Legends & Dance of Desire and most recently with Ragus where she was given the opportunity to perform lead while touring in Holland, China, Japan and France. She has also appeared in the RTE TV series Dance Off where she was chosen by ex Riverdance lead Brendan de Gallai for his show Noctu which has toured Ireland and Broadway New York.

When asked about getting the role of lead dancer in TitanicDance Katrina replied It’s a huge honor to perform lead alongside Ray Sweeney and James Keegan. It is an incredibly talented cast with quite a few performers from Mayo. We are very excited about the tour, it's a show not to be missed.”

The Derry based Millenium Forum Productions with arrangement with KSR Productions have joined forces with the Mayo Manchester Tourism and Business group to promote the tour.

Tony Hennigan from Mayo Manchester commented “We are delighted to be working with the Millennium Forum Productions and KSR Productions, we were involved in the world premiere launch and it is great to see the show evolve into a world-wide hit. There are loads of performers with a Mayo and Manchester connection in the show which include the three times World champion Irish Dance, James Keegan from Manchester and the female lead dancer Katriona O’Donnell from Achill in Mayo. The show’s musical director is the multi-award winning Foxford musician, Stephen Doherty.”

“The Titanic story is very close to the hearts of people in Mayo, the tiny village of Addergoole in North Mayo is home to the Titanic memorial garden which pays homage to the fourteen people in the village who were killed on that fateful voyage. It is great to see Mayo musicians and dancers keeping their spirit and the story alive through this production.”

The Executive producer of the show David McLaughlin and CEO of the Millennium Forum added “It is great to be working with Mayo Manchester on this project again; having done a recent outdoor show with Oasis it is great to strengthen the connections to Mayo and Manchester through this production.”

TitanicDance is an Irish Musical Dance sensation that tells the story of the world’s most famous ship from its beginning in the Belfast shipyard to its tragic end in the Atlantic Ocean. Produced by Millennium Forum Productions in arrangement with KSR Productions, it first took audiences in Ireland by storm when it opened at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast in 2014 to standing ovations before enjoying a sell-out run at the Millennium Forum in Derry. This is not just an Irish dance show; it’s an emotional journey of hope, aspiration, love, heartbreak and sadness that will mesmerise audiences everywhere.

Last year, the hit show enjoyed a hugely successful tour of China where its appearance at the China International Folk Arts Festival in Qinghai enabled it to be seen by a live audience of over one billion people. The show also made its inaugural visit to the US where it performed at the Branson Events Center in Missouri to numerous standing ovations. This electrifying show tells the story of the world’s most famous ship from its beginning in the Belfast shipyard to its tragic end in the Atlantic Ocean. A cast of 30 world class Irish dancers and live musicians set the scene for a breath-taking romantic performance.
