Mayo's greatest fans brave Sun and Rain to cheer team on
Mayo's greatest fans came well prepared to cheer their beloved Mayo GAA on in their crunch Quarter Final Replay against Roscommon.
Armed with Sunglasses and Umbrella's, Santa Fe's Vinnie Kelley who was on holiday visiting relatives in Attymass joined sprightly pensioner Margaret Barrett from Keenagh and her daughter Geraldine in cheering on their team whilst watching on the Giant screen at the Bonniconlon show in the Sun and Rain.
The photo was captured by Padraic Walsh from Attymass.
Tony Hennigan from Mayo Manchester commented "It was great to see the Giant screen at the Bonniconlon show. The atmosphere was fantastic, even when there was a little rain, 30,000 fans weren't put off and it was great to see the young at heart Margaret leading the way helped by a chair from one of the stewards and her trusty umbrella. She would certainly get my vote as Mayo's greatest".
