Reel Rhythms to kick start Mayo Day weekend in Manchester

The well known Mayo Pub, The Horseshoe in Levenshulme as seen on Irish TV will host a special launch night to kick start the Mayo Day celebrations in Manchester.

The free event on Friday 29 April will feature the Reel Rhythm Dancers plus a live Irish music session from the award winning Grace Kelly and friends. Make sure you wear your Green and Red and bring your instruments or dancing shoes to join in the fun.

Sean Hester from Reel Rhythms commented "Our Mayo roots stem from Ballyhaunis in County Mayo, so we are delighted to have been asked to start the celebrations off in Manchester, you can expect the unexpected from one of our shows, but get there early if you want to squeeze yourself into the venue."

The event will kick start a three day celebration of all things Green and Red to celebrate worldwide international Mayo Day. The annual celebration saw 9.4 million people with roots from the West of Ireland get involved in the celebration.
